During a routine inspection
People experienced treatment that met their needs and protected their rights. For example, one person told us, 'I know what treatment I'm getting because it's on the treatment plan. Ann always discusses the treatment you need with you. It's always up to me what happens'.
People who use the service were protected from the risk of abuse, because the provider had taken reasonable steps to identify the possibility of abuse and prevent abuse from happening.
People were protected from the risk of infection because appropriate guidance had been followed and people were cared for in a clean, hygienic environment.
People were cared for by staff who were supported to deliver care and treatment safely and to an appropriate standard. One person said, 'I've seen some staff certificates on the wall in the reception area. They must know what they're doing as I always come away with no pain feeling a good job has been done'.
