Accommodation for persons who require nursing or personal care

Condition of this registration relating to carrying out this regulated activity
No later than 28 days after the above outlined conditions take effect the registered provider must send the Care Quality Commission a report to confirm each of the conditions have been complied with.
The registered provider must:
a) Ensure all audits are completed in line with your planned daily and monthly audit schedules to ensure there is oversight of service delivery.
b) Ensure service user equipment checks are completed.
The registered provider must:
a) Ensure staff are using Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) in line with government guidance.
b) Ensure Service User risk assessments relating to PPE are accurate and person-centred.
c) Ensure procedures are in place to assess risks and support people required to isolate.
The registered provider must provide the Care Quality Commission with written documentation setting out the system it operates to ensure adequate deployment of staff is available to meet the requirements of service users at The Lodge, Beebee Road, Wednesbury, WS10 9RX including how the registered provider intends to assess resources and plan and deliver this to meet service users needs.
The registered provider must:
a) Ensure each physical intervention incident required for service users is implemented for the shortest possible time.
b) Ensure each physical intervention incident is recorded fully following your own processes to include the monitoring of Airways, Breathing, Circulation, Deformity of limb and Existing conditions.
c) Ensure physical intervention records identify the de-escalation strategies implemented prior to the decision to intervene physically.
d) Ensure physical intervention records identify a debrief has taken place following the incident.
e) Ensure incident analysis accurately identifies shortfalls in incident recording and incident duration.
f) Ensure sufficient staff on duty to safely manage all incidents requiring physical intervention
Terms of this registration relating to carrying out this regulated activity
The Registered Provider must not provide nursing care under accommodation for persons who require nursing or personal care at The Lodge.
The Registered Provider must only accommodate a maximum of 8 service users at The Lodge.
