During a routine inspection
We spoke with four people during this visit who were attending for examination or treatment. All were positive. One patient said 'It's a very good service, very nice people, very pleased to have them as my dentist'.
People told us that their views and experiences were taken into account in the way the service was provided and delivered in relation to their care. They stated that their privacy, dignity and independence were respected.
We looked at feedback comments received from people. These showed satisfaction with the service. One person wrote 'They are meticulous, caring and professional'.
People who used the service were protected from the risk of abuse, because the provider had taken reasonable steps to identify the possibility of abuse and prevent abuse from happening. Staff we spoke to had a good understanding of their safeguarding responsibilities.
We looked at the practice records. Record card audits were in use to ensure patient information was accurate. We found that the dentist used records well to ensure safe practice and circulate information to their team.
We saw that the practice was clean and tidy.
