During a routine inspection
There were effective systems in place to reduce the risk and spread of infection and we saw all areas of the practice were clean. Staff received appropriate professional development and training updates. All staff were trained in cardiopulmonary resuscitation and other medical emergencies which could happen in a dental practice.
Patients who used the service, their representatives and staff were asked for their views about their care and treatment and they were acted on. The dentist told us they asked people face to face if they were happy with the treatment and encouraged them to say if they felt something was wrong. People told us they would know how to complain.
