During a routine inspection
We reviewed the medical records for five patients. We found these included patients' treatment plans, medical histories, appointment dates and the treatment patients had received. We also noted that follow up appointments had been arranged with the patients when required.
We found that the service had the appropriate policies and procedures in place to manage infection control effectively. We also found that the environment was clean and that good infection control procedures were followed. We viewed the results from patient feedback questionnaires and noted that patients had indicated that the service was clean. Comments included "Very clean" and "Good environment".
The appropriate recruitment checks had been completed to ensure that staff employed by the service were suitably skilled and qualified for their role.
We found that robust systems were in place to monitor the quality of the service provided to patients.
