During a routine inspection
We spoke with the management team, two dentists, two dental nurses and one receptionist. They were all enthusiastic about the practice. One said, 'It's a good team, we definitely go the extra mile'. Another told us, 'We've got patients coming back from all over, and that's just the people on my list'. We asked what set the practice apart. One response was, 'I think the patients appreciate the fact that we can handle everything in house, we have the specialist expertise'.
We found that the practice was vibrant and well run. It was set out over three floors and included various waiting areas. There was a sizeable staff team. In order to identify roles, staff members who carried out different functions wore uniforms of a specific colour. The surgeries were well equipped. Where people needed level access they could be treated on the ground floor.
