During a routine inspection
We saw staff spoke with people in a respectful manner. Staff we spoke with understood the importance of privacy, dignity and confidentiality.
We found that people were able to express their views and were involved in making decisions about their care and treatment. People told us that they were "happy" with the information they had. One person said "it is extremely useful and the level of care is quite personal my dentist is excellent'. Another person told us 'I have been to so many dentists but this one is the best'.
We saw that the practice facilities were clean and well maintained with appropriate floor and surface coverings for easy cleaning.
We found that staff received professional development and were able to obtain further qualifications. Staff confirmed they had attended regular practice meetings. These were used as formal supervision and staff had received appraisals.
We found that the provider had an effective system to regularly assess and monitor the quality of service that people received.
