During a routine inspection
Patients we spoke to told us that their treatment options, including any associated risks, and costs were explained to them clearly. They were then able to decide the best treatment option for themselves. One person we spoke to told us 'All the staff are very kind, helpful and supportive. They are very patient with me if I don't understand anything'.
Training records showed us that staff had received training about safeguarding and Mental Capacity as part of their continuous professional development training. This meant that staff had the relevant up to date knowledge and guidance to safeguard children and vulnerable adults.
Staff we spoke to were able to describe good infection control and hygiene practices before, during and after a consultation. One patient told us "It is always spotlessly clean".
Patients and their representatives were regularly asked for their views about their care and treatment. We looked at the last patient survey. Most people had said they agreed or strongly agreed that they were satisfied with the service. Comments included 'I felt very welcome from the start. They are very gentle'
