During a routine inspection

Patients told us that they received a good service from the Practice. One patient said it was "Very relaxing and calming" and that "Treatment has always been successful". Another commented the dentist "Puts you at ease". We found that patients were involved in making decisions about their treatment and that treatment options and costs were explained.

One patient we spoke with said that "I can't remember if I sign [consent] for the treatment". We found that the Practice did not have a clear process for recording patient's consent but the patients we spoke with said they chose what treatment they had.

All areas of the Practice were clean and hygienic and there were good systems in place for managing infection control. All the patients we spoke with told us that the treatment room was always clean. There were robust systems in place to ensure that patients were kept safe and free from harm.
