During a routine inspection
During the inspection we had the opportunity to speak with people who used the service. We had four Care Quality Commission 'Tell us about your care' comment cards filled in on the day of the inspection and we spoke to people over the telephone who had used the service on the day.
They told us they were satisfied with the care and treatment provided. Their comments included 'The best dentist I have seen' and 'Polite and eased the stress of it all'. 'Staff at reception very helpful, pleasant. Dentist was very lovely, made me feel very comfortable even though I was in pain. I did feel very happy' and 'Excellent service thank you'.
We found the provider had appropriate systems in place to ensure consent was gained before they proceeded with the examination or treatment.
We found the provider had taken steps which ensured the care and welfare of people who used the service. We found the provider operated in clean and tidy facilities and had suitable infection prevention and control protocols in place.
We found the provider ensured staff were suitably trained and supported in carrying out their role.
