During a routine inspection

We spoke with people who used the service. They said staff were very good and looked after them well. People told us they chose what they wanted to do, and staff respected their independence. They said 'They support me to be as independent as I can'.

People said that they were happy with the care that they received and thought the carers were 'lovely girls'.

People told us that they thought there were enough staff to meet their needs and they had never had a member of staff not arrive when they were planned to.

People and their relatives told us that they could give their comments and feedback to the service. They said they felt they were listened to by the management.

During a routine inspection

We did not speak with people using the service, we saw recent surveys completed by people using the service and we spoke with staff members.

The general results of the surveys were very positive, and specific comments included 'Very good' and of one of the carers ' A pleasant lady'

We saw some letters from people using the service, comments included 'I would like to thank you for such a wonderful service', 'So very Professional' and 'I would really like to say thank you for taking on board my suggestion'.
