During a routine inspection

We visited the office, spoke with the manager and deputy manager, spoke with one staff face to face and another by telephone. We visited two people in their homes and spoke with their relatives. We spoke with a further two relatives over the telephone.

We found Just Homes Care delivered a service which was compliant with the regulations. Staff we spoke with were passionate about delivering person centred care in which individual needs were met with respect and dignity.

People we spoke with were highly satisfied with the care and support on the whole. One person described the service as 'absolutely marvellous' and a relative said 'staff go the extra mile'.

We found the service worked well with other providers to ensure people had the appropriate level of care and support. We saw effective systems for monitoring the quality of the provision. We found there had been no complaints since the last inspection, only written compliments.

During a routine inspection

People told us that they a very happy with the care and support provided by the service. One person told us that the carers are 'life savers' and that they have supported and 'held the family together'. Another person using the service said the care provided is 'excellent' and they are more than happy with the services provided.

People using the service said they feel safe. People told us if they have any concerns they can tell the carers or the manager and things are sorted 'right away'. People also told us that they are treated with respect and dignity at all times.

People told us they like the carers visiting them. One person told us the carers are 'excellent' and they couldn't wish for better care and support.

People told us that the carers are very polite and approachable. One person using the service said the carers are very good, and very experienced and they are confident in their work. One person told us that sometimes they are asked their opinion about the carers who come to the house. They said that they are always good.

People told us they like the carers coming into their homes. They said the carers are very good, listen to what they say and they said they feel supported by the service.
