During a routine inspection

All people who used the service, who we talked to, were positive about their experience of receiving support from Respite North-West. People told us that they felt safe with the staff, who were generally punctual and always treated them respectfully. People who used the service told us that they had a written plan of the care and support they should expect from the agency. They also told us that they could influence the way in which their care was provided.

The agency staff were described by people who used the service as "very good ' all helpful"; "a friendly bunch"; "really good with me". When asked what the best thing about the service was one person said "[the staff are] understanding and caring."

We talked to some relatives of people who used the service, who were equally positive. One relative, when asked about the agency, said "I can't fault them" and another told us their son's care needs were "met in the best possible way."
