During a routine inspection
The people we spoke with told us that an emphasis had been placed on offering a choice of days, time and frequency of visits. They confirmed that an assessment of their care had been completed prior to receiving the service. They told us reviews of their care had taken place and that staff had been supportive of their care requirements.
The staff we spoke with said their training provided them the necessary knowledge and understanding required to support people receiving care in their own homes.
In order to monitor the quality of the service provided by Home Instead Senior Care systems were in place to obtain feedback from people using the service. One person told us: "They really are very genuine and I feel that they value my opinions."
