During a routine inspection
To maintain and promote people's health and well being, they were supported to access a range of healthcare services and social activities, which took place in and out of the home.
People who used the service had no concerns about how they were being treated and looked after. They said that they were treated well and enjoyed taking part in the social activities.
Staff were knowledgeable about their roles and responsibilities regarding safeguarding vulnerable people from abuse, including financial abuse. Staff were also clear about their roles and responsibilities in whistle blowing procedures.
Work was in progress to continue to improve the external premises of the home. Checking and recording systems were in place to ensure that the home was a safe place to live, work and visit.
Improvements had been made regarding the standard and quality of care and financial records. Records were held in a secure way.
