Condition of this registration relating to carrying out this regulated activity
The Registered Provider must within 14 days of this condition taking effect, undertake a review of their governance arrangements at The Diamond Care Partnership Ltd. To ensure there is an effective system in place, so that each service user has an up to date care plan which details their specific needs, routines, identifies areas of risk and ensures measures are put in place to guide staff on how to support and mitigate risks to service users.
The Registered Provider must within 14 days of this condition taking effect undertake a review of their governance arrangements at The Diamond Care Partnership Ltd to ensure there is an effective system in place to ensure;
a) Medicines are monitored and administered safely and there is evidence to show all prescribing guidance is being followed.
b) The latest Government guidelines in relation to Covid-19 are been followed.
The Registered Provider must within 14 days of the above reviews being undertaken send the Care Quality Commission a written report regarding their progress following the reviews. The report should contain the areas or risk identified, action taken to mitigate the risk, details of timescales for improvements, who will be responsible for them and what the quality arrangements will be going forward. Thereafter the Registered Provider must send a monthly report regarding their progress on the first Monday of each month to the Care Quality Commission.
The Registered Provider must undertake a review of the use of Protective Personal Equipment (PPE) at The Diamond Care Partnership Ltd to ensure that PPE is being used with due regard to government guidance; COVID-19: how to work safely in domiciliary care in England, to prevent and control the spread of COVID-19.
The Registered Provider must undertake a review of the testing regime at The Diamond Care Partnership Ltd to ensure that testing is taking place with due regard to government guidance; A testing service for homecare workers in England, to prevent and control the spread of COVID-19.
The Registered Provider must within 5 days devise and implement an effective
infection control policy, which includes the control measures to prevent and
control the spread of Covid-19.
The Registered Provider must send a report to CQC detailing what actions have
been taken to comply with the above conditions by 06 May 2021. After
submission of the first action plan, the Registered Provider must submit a
monthly report on the first Monday of the month to the Care Quality Commission
setting out how they are ensuring effective oversight of the above conditions,
any failings identified and the action taken to address them.
