During a routine inspection
We saw that the laboratory was clean and there were systems in place to ensure the environment was safe. Staff had experience, training and support to do their job effectively.
Records were kept of the samples received, tested and the result sent out to the healthcare providers. The provider worked in co-operation with the other providers. This ensured that the service provided safe and efficient service. We noted the provider's website did not give accurate information about the services provided from Acculabs Diagnostics ' London. The provider told us that he had been aware of this and had started work to improve it.
Stakeholders had the opportunity to give feedback through the provider's website or user surveys sent to them. We noted that stakeholders were satisfied with the services of Acculabs Diagnostics ' London. A comment made by a respondent to the survey questionnaire read: "We get back the results really quickly and if we have had to speak to your staff they are very thorough". This indicated people were satisfied with the service.
