During a routine inspection
One patient told us; 'Treatments are explained in a way I can understand which is so helpful. I feel I am provided with enough information to make an informed choice and am very much put at ease. No pressure at all and that's what makes me keep coming back here.'
One patient told us 'Reception staff are friendly, happy and professional. Appointments are easily arranged. What I have seen so far I've been very impressed with the service and really trust my dentist.'
We found there were effective systems in place to reduce the risk of infection. The practice had a dedicated decontamination room.
We saw evidence that all staff had been immunised against Hepatitis B. This was to ensure patients were protected against the risk of exposure to health care associated infections.
All staff we spoke to said they felt supported by the practice in respect of their personal development. One member of staff told us; 'I feel very well supported in my development, because we have a nurse trainer who observes us, informs us of new procedures and whether we have any development needs. I think that is really good.'
We saw there were robust systems in place to monitor the quality and effectiveness of the service provided for patients.
