During a routine inspection
All consultations and follow up appointments were carried out in private rooms to respect the privacy and confidentiality of people using the service. There were good recruitment processes in place to ensure that staff were properly qualified to carry out the treatments that were offered.
Cleanliness and infection control were closely monitored and staff had received infection control training within the last twelve months. There was appropriate and sufficient equipment to meet the needs of people using the service. The equipment was well maintained and calibrated where necessary.

During a routine inspection
In the visitors' record book one patient wrote 'Surgery was great. Staff and aftercare have been brilliant.' Another patient had written 'Came in all nervous ' would recommend to everyone else.' Staff were frequently described as 'kind, helpful and professional'.
We heard a member of staff provide clear telephone advice to patients. Their approach was unhurried and showed consideration and respect. We saw evidence that patients' needs were assessed thoroughly and treatment was planned and delivered to ensure patients' safety and welfare.
Staff were well supported in terms of training and there was an effective quality assurance system in place.
