During a routine inspection
We found that there were infection control measures in place to protect people from the risk of infection and appropriate guidance had been followed. Surgical instruments were cleaned and stored correctly. Emergency care could be given because staff had been trained in what to do in medical emergencies. The dentist and dental nurses were appropriately trained and supported to give good standards of care and treatment.
The provider had an effective system to regularly assess and monitor the quality of service people received. People we spoke with told us that they did participate in the satisfaction surveys to get their views and we were told "I am asked every time I have treatment if I am happy."
Patients confirmed that the practice always appeared very clean and fresh and that staff always used protective equipment when treating them.
