During a routine inspection
The provider responded appropriately to any allegation of abuse. We found documentation that demonstrated that the provider had conducted investigations into possible abuse. We saw records which evidenced that they informed the local authority and the Care Quality Commission when required.
There were enough qualified, skilled and experienced staff to meet people's needs. The registered manager and the deputy manager told us that there were sufficient numbers of suitably skilled, qualified and experienced staff at all times. We looked at the training records for 10 members of staff and found that they had received appropriate training.
Care workers told us that they were supported in their role. Records demonstrated that care workers had recieved supervision. One care worker said "I can ask for help anytime I need it and I have had supervisions by my manager".
Records were kept securely and could be located promptly when needed. We spoke with three members of staff who all told us that people's care records were located safely in the office and told us that they could access the records when necessary
