During a routine inspection
Before people were seen for an initial consultation they were asked to complete a health questionnaire which asked about relevant details such as medical conditions and allergies. People were provided with written information about pre- and post operative care. In written comments they described the service as "first class" and said they were "extremely happy" with their treatment. There were arrangements in place to deal with foreseeable emergencies.
Staff were trained in infection control. The service was cleaned on a regular basis and checks were made to ensure that this took place. Personal protective equipment and clinical waste facilities were available throughout the service.
Staff undertook appropriate mandatory training as well as professional training specific to the procedures and treatments offered by the service. There was a procedure in place for their performance to be evaluated on an annual basis.
The provider had an effective system to regularly assess and monitor the quality of service that people receive.
