We found that staff had received safeguarding training, and safeguarding policies were in place. The three staff members we spoke with were aware of their responsibilities to safeguard both vulnerable adults and children.
Staffing levels appeared to be appropriate and we found staff to be skilled, experienced and qualified to carry out their roles.
We found that some of the quality assurance and monitoring of the service was not as effective as it could be.
The service had a complaints process and we saw evidence that comments and complaints had been acted on.
We looked at a random sample of three medical records and found they were held securely and contained appropriate information to help ensure safe care was delivered.
