During a routine inspection
Following our inspection we spoke with one person who had used the service recently. They told us that they had been able to make an appointment at a time that suited them. People generally attended the clinic with pre-planned appointments booked by telephone.
We saw that people did not have to wait to be seen. This meant that people were seen in a timely manner.
Medical notes were kept as computer records in a secure environment. Consultation
rooms were private and ensured confidentiality and privacy.
People with mobility difficulties and very young children were able to access the clinic via a
passenger lift.
There was a quality monitoring system in place. Audits and monitoring information was collected to ensure the service met the required standards.
