Our view of the service
We completed the assessment of WEF care between 12th July and 24th July 2024. The assessment was announced and it did not require on site visit. We completed this assessment remotely. The assessment was completed in response to come concerns we received about the service. The service was led by a nominated individual and a newly recruited manager who had recently applied to register with CQC. We found that the care provided was safe and delivered by staff who were motivated to support people in a way that was person centred. People were happy with the care they received. Policy and procedures were in place to support good practise.
People's experience of this service
People and they relatives told us they were happy with the care they received. They felt safe and told us staff were caring. They had confidence in the management. People's commenst included,: "I have no concerns they all seem well-trained and seem to know what they are doing"; "staff are excellent";"I am very happy with the care".
