We spoke to three people who used the service. All of them were happy with the standard of service they had received. One person said; "I didn't have to wait long for an appointment." Another said; "Staff are discreet." And; "The staff are very polite and helpful."We found people's privacy and dignity were respected.
People's views and experiences were taken into account in the way the service was provided and delivered in relation to their care. One person said; "All of the options were explained step-by-step and choices were given to me." Another person said; "I was given written information that told me what was involved."
Before people received any care or treatment they were asked for their consent and the provider acted in accordance with their wishes. We saw consent forms were signed before any treatment took place.
Care and treatment was planned and delivered in a way that was intended to ensure people's safety and welfare. One person said; "The staff helped me." Another said; "Everything was explained to me and I had telephone numbers if there was a problem."
People were cared for, or supported by, suitably qualified, skilled and experienced staff. We spoke with four staff. They told us it was a good organisation to work for. One staff member said; "There are excellent training opportunities." All staff said they felt well supported by their line manager to carry out their role.
We saw the provider had systems in place to gather feedback from people, who used the service, and to regularly assess and monitor the quality of service people received.
