During a routine inspection
We found that people's needs were assessed and care and treatment was planned and delivered in line with their individual care plan. Care plans and risk assessments were reviewed on a regular basis.
We saw evidence of feedback from representatives of people using the service and their comments about the service their relative received was very positive. Some of these comments included:
'The home is warm and comfortable and I have very good relationships with the staff. The staff are very responsive and I value the service my son receives which is outreach service.'
'My son has improved 100% in confidence and social skills. He will listen to advice from staff. It has helped turn our family around. I now feel I have a bond with my son.'
The provider had taken appropriate steps to identify and prevent abuse from occurring. There were systems in place to obtain the views of people who used the service in relation to the standard of services provided.
We saw evidence to confirm that staff were receiving appropriate training to enable them to carry out their job roles effectively and safely.
We found that the provider had appropriate systems in place to monitor the quality and standard of services being provided in Eden House.
