During a routine inspection
All three were complimentary about the services provided and raised no concerns. One person told us 'the care I get is marvellous' and 'I couldn't want for anything better.' We asked whether staff treated them decently. One person said the care workers were 'polite and kind', another said staff were 'polite' and a third said 'we always have a laugh.'
We saw from care records that personalised assessments were carried out and that these were translated into care plans and schedules of work that were adhered to by the care workers.
We were assured that the provider had appropriate systems in place to work alongside the local authority to safeguard people and that there were effective recruitment procedures that were adhered to.
People were enabled and supported to make complaints and these were investigated and followed up.
We had some concerns about the way some information was filed. This meant it could not be readily obtained or understood.
