During a routine inspection
Patients said that staff were helpful and professional. One patient told us, 'They're all really good. They're professional and friendly and they put you at ease.' Staff had access to the training and support they needed and opportunities for professional development. Staff were clear about their responsibilities in relation to reporting abuse and had been given information about how to report concerns.
There were systems in place to reduce the risk and spread of infection. Staff followed appropriate working practices in relation to infection control, treatment rooms were clean and hygienic and all equipment was tested and serviced regularly to check that it was working correctly.
There was an effective system to monitor the quality of service patients received. Patients had opportunities to give their views about the service they received and any complaints received an appropriate response.
