During a routine inspection
All the people who used this service were unable to communicate verbally. We saw that guidance was in place to help staff communicate with people and that staff followed this guidance to seek people's views and wishes when planning their support. We saw that people's care was well planned and that staff were responsive to people's needs and preferences in providing care. We saw that people were well cared for.
We saw that the provider ensured that staff understood people's needs and were competent to deliver care before they were expected to work alone with people. The provider had systems in place to ensure that the quality of the service was maintained or improved and that people were safe.
