During a routine inspection
People spoke very highly of the care staff and the quality of the support they had provided. They told us they were very happy with the support they had received and they felt they had been supported safely and consistently. They confirmed to us they had been supported in the way they preferred. One relative told us, 'I'm totally satisfied and have absolutely no complaints at all.'
We spoke with 15 people who used the service and they told us staff always used gloves and wore aprons, they said they always disposed of the gloves and aprons before leaving the property. A person who used the service told us, "I have no problems with the cleanliness, the girls always leave the house as they find it. When they are giving care, they always wear gloves and aprons."
We were shown the electronic staffing rota system. We were told this system highlighted where staff had availability during their working day. This system enabled the service to respond to unexpected changes, for example, short notice annual leave or sickness.
People we spoke with said they were able to raise any concerns or issues with the care staff and management team. One person told us, 'The manager is brilliant and easy to talk to.'
