During a routine inspection
The provider had clear systems in place to obtain people's feedback. We saw recently completed satisfaction surveys. Fifty people had completed surveys during the month of January 2014 and the overall result indicated that people were very happy with the service provided and that the staff had dealt with their needs effectively and efficiently.
Comments included: "I was very impressed with the attention I received; the staff were excellent' and 'First class clinical skills. All staff engaged and never too busy to help, I have never been to a better run surgical facility' and 'My treatment was both friendly and efficient, nothing was too much trouble. It was a good experience.'
Records showed that people had been fully involved in decisions about their care and treatment offered and were fully informed of their treatment plans.
We found that the clinic was clean and tidy and provided a friendly, calm and supportive environment. The service had effective systems in place to monitor infection prevention.
We found that the staff were suitably trained and supported and that the provider had effective systems in place to ensure the quality and safety of the service provided.
