We spoke to four patients who used the service. They spoke very positively about the clinic. One person told us 'The staff are professional and caring and truly excellent at putting me at ease'. We saw documents which confirmed that all professionally practicing staff at the practice held relevant current registrations for example with the General Medical Council (GMC). We also saw documents which confirmed that the provider held checks with the disclosure and barring service (DBS).
We spoke to two members of staff about their infection control and hygiene practices throughout consultation. These are required in order to minimise the risk of cross infection between equipment, patients and staff. They described clear processes and procedures. One patient also told us "The standards of hygiene and cleanliness are faultless'.
We saw that the service did not have a Quality Assurance policy. We found that regular audits had not been completed for example for health and safety, infection control, cleaning of the practice and quality of record-keeping.
