During a routine inspection
On the day of our visit two members of staff were supporting people attending the service. These were the Client Services Co-ordinator and a registered nurse. The registered manager who was working at the Leamington Spa service on the day of our visit, came to Solihull to participate in part of the inspection.
We spoke with two people using the service. They told us they had been treated with dignity and respect. They felt staff were sensitive to their needs, and they were given good information about their options.
We looked at care and treatment plans. These were comprehensive and demonstrated that the service had given people appropriate information.
We observed staff having a clear understanding of their responsibilities to safeguard people using the service.
Staff worked well to support the people in attendance on the day of our visit. Staff told us they received good support from the organisation to help them undertake their roles.
We checked the management of medicines and were satisfied that medicines were being managed appropriately.
We looked at records. We noted that records contained all the legal information required for a termination of pregnancy.
