During a routine inspection
We found policies and procedures were in place to ensure people were able to give informed consent to any treatment. Where there was any concern regarding a person's understanding about proposed treatment, staff told us they would always seek additional information from the person's GP.
People received care and treatment which was provided in a safe and appropriate manner. We found pre- and post-operative support was available to people both at the clinic and via a 24 hour telephone line.
Staff had access to policies and procedures which were in place to safeguard children and vulnerable adults. They were able to tell us what action they would take should they have any concerns about anyone who attended the service.
Staff told us they felt well supported. We found staff had the necessary skills and training to undertake their role in a safe and appropriate manner.
We found there were effective systems in place to monitor the quality of the care provided.
