During a routine inspection
Patients were offered treatment options and were involved in decisions about their care and treatment. A patient told us "they [the dentist] give me the options and I make the decisions. They listen to me because I am the patient".
Patients received advice on oral hygiene. One patient said "she [the dentist] explained in more detail how to look after my teeth and avoid treatment'.
The risk of cross infection was minimised because appropriate guidance was followed. Patients told us that they found the practice to be clean and tidy. One patient said "the place is clean without a doubt".
Staff received training and support relevant to their roles and responsibilities. Staff were happy working at the practice. The member of staff we spoke with said "I love it. I think we get on more like a family than a workplace".
Patient's views on the service they received were sought. We saw that patient satisfaction surveys were conducted every six months.
