Equity in experiences and outcomes
People felt listened to and well supported. One person told us, ‘’It’s all very pleasant they give good general care to everyone. I’m happy here.” Another person said, ‘’If I’m not feeling well, I can eat in my bedroom, but it is my choice. I always just eat what I want, it’s always nice and hot. They do listen to me; they are very good. I can manage most things myself but if I need any help, they will always help me.’’
Staff showed an awareness of people's individual needs, their differences, and preferences. A staff member told us, ‘’I know all of the residents well. I can chat to them and help reassure them as I know them well.’’ Staff told us they encouraged people to be themselves, individuality was celebrated.
