During a routine inspection
We saw that the provider gave information in different ways to people that assisted people in developing a care package that would be appropriate to them.
The people that we spoke with and their relatives told us that they were fully involved in developing their care plan and that they felt that staff treated them with respect and dignity and encouraged them to be independent. We were told 'They understand the care that is needed' and 'We have peace of mind.'
We were told by people that they felt safe with staff with one person telling us 'I certainly feel that, yes.' We saw from the training records that all staff had undergone appropriate training that ensured people were kept safe.
We looked at staff files as part of our inspection and found that the provider had robust recruitment processes in place for the recruitment of new staff.
We found that the agency regularly sought the views of people to make sure they were happy with the service. People who used the service told us if they were unhappy about anything they could tell the staff and something would be done.
