During an inspection looking at part of the service
We found that the measures taken by the provider and staff were effective and the practice was safe and clean.
Shortly before this visit, we received information from a patient that their examination by a dentist had been too brief to be effective. The practice manager showed us that staff recorded the times that patients entered and left their appointments, so any query could be checked. The shortest appointment during our visit was nine minutes. Processes were in place for the provider to check dentists' examination practice and to regularly audit record cards, which showed what dentists had checked during examinations.
