During a routine inspection
People told us they were given easy to understand explanations about their care and treatment and their consent was always sought. There were procedures in place to deal with emergencies and staff had been trained to provide emergency care.
People told us they felt safe and were asked for their views about the service. There were systems in place to safeguard people, including staff training. We saw that recruitment was throughly carried out, which protected people using the service.
The provider conducted their own audits and checks, which meant the quality of care was being regularly monitored.
