During an inspection looking at part of the service
We looked at how staff were supported to deliver care safely. The recently appointed practice manager had met with a number of staff individually and collectively. However, we found there were no records of the individual meetings and no framework in place to evaluate and improve the quality of service provided. Individual and group clinical supervision arrangements had been agreed with the nursing staff although no supervision had taken place.
We found the premises were cleaner than at the time of our January 2014, rusty equipment had been removed and damaged treatment chairs replaced. However, people may not be fully protected from the risk of infection because appropriate guidance had not been followed.
