During a routine inspection
"The surgeon was excellent."
"They explained everything fully and gave me information to read."
"They (consultant) was easy to contact and they saw me every time I needed to be seen."
People told us they were given appropriate information and support about their care and treatment. We found people were given sufficient information to allow them to make a decision about their care and treatment. We found their views were sought and respected.
We found that One Health Group worked in close cooperation with the hospital in which surgery took place and with other organisations. This ensured people's experience of care was coordinated in an effective way.
We found care and treatment was planned and delivered in a way that was intended to ensure people's safety and welfare.
People's health, safety and welfare was protected when more than one provider was involved in their care and treatment, or when they moved between different services. This was because the provider worked in co-operation with others.
During our visit we found the provider had an effective system to regularly assess and monitor the quality of service that people receive.
