During a routine inspection
Patients spoken with during the inspection were very happy with the care, support and treatment that they received. One person said, 'Both the reception staff and doctor were really nice.' Another person who had just returned to live in the Redcar area said, 'I'm not registered with a GP in this area. I came in today at 09:30am and an appointment was made for me to see the GP at 11:10am. I've been here before they are very good.'
We were able to observe the experiences of patients. We saw that staff treated patients with dignity and respect. We saw that patients had their care, support and treatment needs assessed and that treatments plans were in place.
We saw that patients were protected from abuse and that staff received support and training to deliver care and treatment safely.
We saw that patients were treated in safe, accessible surroundings.
