Bevan Medical Group provides services to around 7,770 patients from five locations:

We visited Bevan Grove, Station Road Surgery and Easington Medical Centre as part of this inspection.
The practice is a recent merger (January 2019) of two GP practices which were Station Road Surgery and Shotton Medical Practice.
The provider is registered with CQC to deliver the Regulated Activities; diagnostic and screening procedures, maternity and midwifery services and treatment of disease, disorder or injury, surgical procedures and family planning.
The practice is part of NHS Durham Dales Easington and Sedgefield clinical commissioning group (CCG). The practice provides services based on a General Medical Services (GMS) contract agreement for general practice.
The provider is a single-handed male GP who registered with the CQC in January 2019. The practice also employs a salaried male GP and several regular male locum GPs. There is one nurse practitioner and four practice nurses and three health care assistants. There is a pharmacist and several administration staff.
The practice provides late evening, weekend and bank holiday appointments. They are part of the local GP federation of GP practices who work together to provide appointments with GPs, nurses or health care assistants outside of their normal working hours. Patients can contact the practice reception team to arrange appointments. When this service is not provided patients requiring urgent medical care can contact the out of hours service provided by the NHS 111 service.
