During a routine inspection
Care and treatment was planned and delivered in a way that was intended to ensure patient's safety and welfare. Patients said the care and treatment to be provided was explained and they were happy with the service they had received.
Patients who used the service were protected from the risk of abuse. Patients told us they felt safe when accessing the service and confirmed they had been offered a chaperone.
There were effective systems in place to reduce the risk and spread of infection. Patients told us that they had observed staff washing their hands and we observed them using personal protective equipment appropriately.
There was an effective complaints system available. Comments and complaints patients made were responded to appropriately. Patients told us they were satisfied with the service. However they had not always had information about the complaints procedures.
