During a routine inspection
We met with the practice manager, the provider/orthodontist, one dental nurse and the receptionist.
People said they were well informed of the options available to them. One person said 'it was all very clearly explained from the start." The orthodontist showed us how they explained treatments to people using a flat screen television in the treatment room.
We observed people were welcomed warmly by the receptionist. We heard people being spoken to in a quiet and courteous manner. People spoke positively about their experiences of the reception staff and said they 'were very accommodating when booking appointments.'
People said they were asked about their medical history at each visit. This ensured the dentist was aware of any changes they needed to know about.
The practice had appropriate drugs and equipment available in the event of a medical emergency.
People we spoke with said they had no reason to make a complaint or raise a concern about the practice
