During a routine inspection
We asked people to tell us about their experience. People commented, 'Nothing is too much trouble', 'They never let us down' and 'We're really happy with what they do'.
We also looked at the individual care records for people. Information was detailed and provided clear direction for staff about people's needs and wishes.
Systems were in place to ensure the safety and protection of people using the service. The manager and staff were aware of their responsibilities and knew what action to take should an allegation of abuse be made.
Suitable arrangements were in place when recruiting new staff. Staff spoken with confirmed they had received an induction and some areas of training.
Systems were being developed to monitor and review the quality of service provided so that people received a good standard of care.
Information was made available to people about raising any complaints or concerns about the service. People spoken with told us they could approach the manager if they needed to. However they did not have any concerns about the support they received.
