Condition of this registration relating to carrying out this regulated activity
The registered provider must within seven days of this condition taking effect undertake quality assurance audits at Dormy House, Ridgemount Road, Sunningdale, Ascot, Berkshire, SL5 9RL in respect of the following:
• Service users’ access to bathe or shower daily or as they prefer including
washing their hair.
• Safe deployment of staff to ensure service users’ needs are met.
• A review to ensure staff have the relevant training on risk of choking and have been competency assessed
• A review of all other risks to service users care to ensure their safety
• Accident and incident analysis including trends, patterns and action taken
• Safeguarding and Whistleblowing training with evidence of how this is being embedded
• A review of service users and their representatives concerns and complaints to ensure actions are taken and any learning from this
• A review of activities offered to service users to ensure these are meaningful and person centred
• A review of service users care plans to ensure there is appropriate guidance and that this is being followed by staff
The registered provider must within seven days of undertaking the quality assurance audits and on the first working day of every month thereafter must send to the Care Quality Commission a report detailing the outcome of the quality assurance audits. The report should detail any remedial or immediate
action taken along with any other action that the Registered Provider plans to take as a result of the outcome of these audits. The report should include associated timescales for completing the actions and highlight who will be responsible to ensure that the required improvements are made.
Terms of this registration relating to carrying out this regulated activity
The Registered Provider must only Accommodate a maximum of 88 service users at Dormy House.
