Well-led
We saw improvements in all governance systems and processes that support safe and quality care. We saw additional oversight from managers with regard to safe recruitment practices. Governance, management and sustainability
At this inspection the registered manager responded positively to the concerns raised as part of the last inspection and suspension period. They have taken immediate actions and made significant improvements to the service. The registered manager provided examples of management oversight in order to provide assurance that all necessary actions had been identified and had been addressed.
At this inspection the registered manager responded positively to the concerns raised as part of the last inspection and suspension period. They have taken immediate actions and made significant improvements to the service. The systems to manage current and future performance and risks to the quality of the service take a proportionate approach to managing risk that allows new and innovative ideas to be tested within the service. Safe recruitment procedures and employment checks were now in place. All staff had full employment records. All staff had completed mandatory training. This included training for the escalation of a deteriorating patient and incident reporting A policies audit had been undertaken in January 2024. All policies checked on inspection had been reviewed within date and version controlled. New environmental and cleaning audits in place. Records showed 100% compliance. The registered manager had applied for a home office license and there had been a robust oversight of the processes from external pharmacists from the community.
