During a routine inspection
Records we looked at reflected the treatment people had received.
The acting practice manager and registered manager assisted with the inspection and provided all of the information we needed. We spoke with the dentist, two dental nurses and the receptionist. They told us about their induction and training and all said they felt supported. The training included child protection and safeguarding vulnerable people. Staff had been recruited safely.
The premises were fully accessible for people with disabilities and had a comfortable waiting room and modern bright treatment rooms. The practice was clean and there were good arrangements for infection control and the decontamination of dental instruments. Equipment was checked regularly.
Comments that people made were listened to and complaints were treated seriously. The provider was committed to providing a quality service and regularly made checks to ensure this was the case.
